The Scottish Government confirmed that, from 1 November, we will be able to start to provide the normal range of dental treatments.

However, the Chief Dental Officer's letter sent to dental practices states,

"You should be assured that I fully recognise the position that a return to pre-COVID levels of patient volume will not be achievable under the current health protection measures. I am aware that it will still be necessary for you to prioritise appointments for patients requiring urgent dental care, those at greatest risk of oral disease and the backlog of patients from during the ‘lockdown’. This is not business as usual

It means we cannot see the usual number of patients as we may still have to leave the surgery empty, possibly for 30 minutes or more, after some appointments.

Next month, we will contact patients that are due a check-up and/or with outstanding treatment, however, it will be prioritised from March onwards.

Unless you have a concern or dental problem we request that patients do not phone to make a routine appointment. We have over 5,000 registered patients and will not be able to see everybody; your patience would be much appreciated.

In the midst of a pandemic our priority is the safety of all concerned and by maintaining the highest standards of health and safety and infection control, we can reduce the risk of COVID-19 together.

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE PRACTICE if an appointment has not been given to you; you will not be seen. Contact us via phone or email.

Apologies but we are not registering new adult patients. If you have an immediate dental problem you can call 0141 232 6323 or NHS 24 on 111.

Our surgery hours:
Mon to Fri: 9am-5pm.
Thank you for your understanding in this challenging time.
